Crypto Banter is the world’s first 24/7 crypto channel

Crypto Banter, the first media channel devoted exclusively to cryptocurrency, is designed to filter out the noise and provide relevant and credible information

Ran Neuner, host of CNBC’s Crypto Trader show has announced the launch of Crypto Banter, the world’s first live streaming platform dedicated to cryptocurrency. The 24/7 crypto-centric media outlet is expected to go live just in time for the 2021 bull market.

The station, which is all set to be the first media channel devoted exclusively to cryptocurrency, will feature a blend of news, opinions, interviews, and live discussions with industry leaders and experts. The streaming platform aims to deliver crypto-based content round the clock.

Neuner has been educating the public about cryptocurrency and blockchain since 2017 when he first launched Crypto Trader on CNBC.

Neuner explained that the new service was designed to provide viewers with an alternative source of credible and real-time information. Crypto Banter can be accessed by anyone at any time without having to go down the Crypto Twitter rabbit hole.

In an exclusive press release to the Coin Telegraph, the CNBC host said, “Crypto Banter is designed to bring the banter from Crypto Twitter and Telegram to a credible, moderated AV medium. It is designed to filter out the noise and bring information that people can trade on to a live streaming medium”.

Fake news and misinformation have been significant barriers in achieving mainstream credibility for cryptocurrency. An article on the subject published by PaymentsSource explains that the cryptocurrency market is full of “fake news”.

Often, it’s a simple manipulation or rumours amplified by nativity, conformity, fear or ignorance. The 2018 article pins down the lack of trusted and reliable sources of information as the major barrier to combating misinformation in the crypto community. Crypto Banter fills this gap by acting as a source of credible and verified information on cryptocurrencies.

Available on YouTube, Crypto Banter can be described as a mix between CNBC, the Joe Rogan Experience and talk radio. Neuner’s first guest was The Coin Telegraph’s weekend editor Andrew Thurman.

Although the path towards cryptocurrency adoption has moved from retail to institutional investors, Crypto Banter is banking on growing mainstream interest in digital assets.

“While we are seeing great adoption Bitcoin as a store of value and a hedge against USD printing, the real adoption of Blockchain hasn’t yet begun and will take several years”, Neuner explained.

“For now, there will be a ton of speculation on investments in this space. Money will be made and lost in minutes and up-to-the-minute info is key. Today there is no live streaming. […] CryptoBanter looks to fill this gap”, he added.
